Angela (Kitten) Joann Hubbard-Drennon

Angela JoAnn ‘Kitten’ Blair was born Saturday, December 12, 1959, to Yvonne Kizzee–Jeter and Mozell Blair. Kitten’s paternal grandparents had always wanted a daughter, so they brought Angela home from the hospital with them.  She was the daughter they had always wanted.

After graduating from Marietta High School, she moved to Denver, CO., and married Earnest James Hubbard. To this union, two daughters were born: Keiona NiCole and Ernisha. 

Angela’s grandparents were getting older, and she wanted to be closer to them, so she moved back in 1978 and made Marietta her home.

Angela and Willie ‘Pro’ Drennon have been together for twenty years and got married December 27, 2019.

Angela loved going to her church, New Zion. She joined New Zion as a youth and sang in New Zion’s Youth Choir.  She enjoyed dancing and listening to music. Angela was an excellent cook. Her family was important, and she always wanted to help others anyway she could. She was very feisty with a lot of wisdom and a quick come back!

Angela always had a GIANT heart. She has taken in many children as her own.

Angela was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, and a daughter, Keiona NiCole Hubbard in 2009.

Angela leaves to cherish fond memories in the hearts of her family, friends, and loved ones. Her husband Willie ‘Pro” Drennon of the home; two daughters, Ernisha and Jermone Allen, Kieara and Antonio Akins; one son, Gary Douglas, Jr.; her stepmom, Rose ‘Mary’ Blair; brothers, Eugene Manuel, Lindsey Jeter Jr, and Mozelle Blair Jr., and Simione Blair; sisters, Theda Blair, and LaVonne ‘Panda’ Blair; stepchildren, Earl Drennon, Elizabeth Drennon, Deeadra Albert, Naomi Albert and David Albert; other family members include, 17 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
